Mr. O'Gorman's over thirty five years in the telecommunications industry gives him an in-depth knowledge of the changes that have occurred and continue to develop in this industry. He has background in both common carrier and private consulting. Mr. O’Gorman is the principal of Communications Engineering Inc.
Mr. O’Gorman’s career started in 1971, with New Jersey Bell Telephone, where he held management positions both in Sales and Engineering. He has been an independent telecommunications consultant since 1980. In 1988, he co-founded Communications Engineering Inc. and was President from 1991. The company was re-organized as an LLC in January, 2007. Mr. O'Gorman has provided consulting advice in the legal, financial, publishing, health care and entertainment fields as well as, federal and state institutions and universities and colleges in the design, selection, and project management of state-of-the-art telecommunications systems and infrastructures. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants which is the largest association of independent telecommunications consultants in North America.
